Haven't made it to the range with it yet but was totally surprised to find one of these local. This gun is tight and the trigger is very crisp, will disassemble it later next week for a good cleaning before hitting the range.

Looks like Ruger has an other winner. The Ruger 1911's are a great bang for the buck.

Finally got to the range and shot about 100 rounds of Federal 230 FMJ.This is one sweet 1911 and not one hitch, ran like a champ!

Went back to the range today and put another 100 rounds with zero issues.Tried some steel cased Tulammo and it doesn't like to feed it,about the only gun I got that likes it is my G36.
This time I shot a box of UMC 230 gr FMJ,so far I'm loving this Ruger!
