I have a Caracal Compact. Might shoot it in my next USPSA Production Match. I haven't ordered any parts from Galloway as none of the parts they offer interest me right now. I really would like for Caracal or someone to offer a rear sight with a wider notch though.

I sent Debbie an email asking about the guide rods and she said they'd have them this week some time. However, it looks like they updated their information on the website. They added a new Blacked replacement rod, which you need to assemble with your current Caracal spring. The second is that their assembled guide rods use Glock springs (was this there before and I missed it?).

I agree. I bought a small file kit, but just can't get the nerve up to start filing....lol
I believe that would work, just scared.

Here are the steps to installing the guide rod from Galloway Precision:

    1. Remove slide
    2. Break old plastic guide rod
    3. Put old spring on new guide rod and tighten the end cap
    4. Put gun back together
    5. Have fun at the range!!!

Haha......it really is that easy! I will give a range report on the differences hopefully tomorrow.

Not to be a bother, but would you be able to put up pics of the front and back? I'd love to see it from all angles.

    Sorry....been busy
It worked perfectly and actually reduced the recoil a little more. Having slightly less recoil allowed for more accurate double-taps. Overall, I am very pleased!!!
