Is there anyone out there that would consider selling thier Caracal C QAS instead of returning it under the Recall Buyback option? I'm assuming I could still send it in myself for the recall repair (yes?) Could someone tell me how Caracal decides on the price for the refund... both for the gun, and also for magazines? Is there a "set" amount? Do they base it on the price paid new from a sales receipt? If so, I'm guessing it would be better for a current owner to take the refund other than lowering the sales price even a small amount to compensate for it being "used"? Could any of you comment on your opinion of doing this vs. just waiting until I can get a brand new one (hopefully sometime in the next few months)? Obviously I'd be getting a "used" gun... and would still have to deal with the hassle of sending it in for repair. And will Caracal make the returned guns available for sale at a discount of some sort? Thanks.
